Ignite Toronto: Designing for Visual Efficiency

Tonight I had the opportunity to speak at #IgniteTO, Toronto‚Äôs local gathering under the Ignite umbrella. This was the second ignite, following a highly successful, and entertaining evening back in September. For those who aren’t familiar with the Ignite format the premise is basically that the presenter has no control over the slides – every 20 seconds they advance, whether you’re ready for them to or not.

For my talk I decided to take my FITC presentation from earlier this year (a 90 minute talk) and distill it down to its key points so I could summarize it in just five short minutes – a video of this event is embedded below.
