Community Power Fund was an organization that, as it approached its next Annual General Meeting, faced some large decisions that would affect the future of the organization.
While the board worked great together, the day long offsite at the Gibraltar Point Centre for the Arts called for a very full agenda so they brought me in to serve as a facilitator for the day. Primarily my role was to help keep them on track and ensure conversations stayed productive. Given some of the decisions to be made that day I was also on hand in case anything became contentious or the group simply needed some help getting to closure on a given issue.
Happily, the day went off without a hitch and the client made some key decisions with great clarity and consensus that would serve as a major inflection point for the organization.
